about

a woman djing on stage in front of red lights

Liss Jackson, aka cash.liss, hails from West  Baltimore, MD. Her roots began in printmaking with her home girl Shae, as half of the duo that made up TORTILLAGURL, a submission based zine highlighting Baltimore artists.

When that disbanded in 2019, Liss set her sights on dj-ing and making booties shake. Since then, her eclectic sets ranging from Baltimore club, trap, Miami bass, hip hop, baile and more have taken her across the east coast playing at venues like Good Room in NYC, Baltimore Soundstage, Bossa Nova and more. Playing with  talented folks like Rod Lee, Scottie B, Abdu Ali,  and other legends.

Her goal is to provide a safe space, mutual aid resource and community aid through her party Hoochie Hours. Hoochie Hours is a femme/LGBTQ+ friendly and focused dance party that seeks to couple somatic healing through dance while providing for party-goers in need effectively and discreetly.

Liss's expertise extends beyond the realm of art and music. With her Horticulture Technician certificate bestowed upon her in 2021, she has cultivated a deep admiration and care for all forms of plant life. Liss brings forth her compassionate knowledge and affection to assist others in nurturing their green companions.
